Shoe Gifting

Since October of 2018, Track Guy has gifted over 1,300 pairs of shoes to children, with a need, across Iowa. It is our goal to bring that joy to many more student-athletes in years to come!

Scholarships

Because of the generosity of people from all over the world, Track Guy awarded two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors in 2019 and that support has grown to 82 scholarships in 2025. We believe in the importance of continuing education and are grateful to help with a portion of those expenses.

Speaker Series

You may not be the best today, but hard work and dedication goes a long ways. Our Speaker Series events help to bring that to reality through stories of some of our sports greats!

Weekend Warrior

Weekend Warrior is a four-person team competition in Iowa City that blends running, biking, golfing, and bowling into a fun, family-friendly event. While teams compete and scores are kept, the focus is on participation, inclusivity, and creating a lively atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.

10K Relay

Join us for the Track Guy 10k Relay, a fun and rewarding community event supporting the Track Guy Foundation. This unique 2-person relay challenges teams to alternate 400m laps on the track until they complete a full 10k distance. The race is set for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 7:00 PM at City High Track in Iowa City, IA, with registration fees of $15 for HS teams and $30 for adult teams.

Track Guy joined the community in celebrating Erin Kerkhoff and Jessica Heims before they represent Eastern Iowa on the world stage.

Events

Our Speaker Series and other functions help us raise money and get the word out about the Track Guy Foundation and our mission. They are also great ways to give back to the community.
