It’s our mission to help Iowa’s youth connect with track & field and cross country, but that is difficult to do without great coaches.

If you want to be involved in these great sports - and are wanting to become a coach (in any capacity), check out this grant opportunity!

The Track Guy Foundation is committed to providing up-to $400 in reimbursement grants to two prospective coaches who meet the following requirements:

1.) Complete the coaching authorization requirements per the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners guidelines.

2.) Must use the certificate to coach, or volunteer coach, track & field and/or cross country. Other sports can be in addition to one or both.

3.) Two 100-word essays:

a. Written by applicant stating why he/she wants to become a coach

b. Written by the Head Coach or Athletic Director expressing why applicant would be a good addition to the staff (file upload)

4.) Applicant’s Proof of Purchase for course taken (file upload)

5.) Certificate of Completion must be within the calendar year of which you are applying (file upload)
