The 3rd Annual sponsorship tiers will be similar but with some changes.
Sponsorship
Weekend Warrior is a team competition, hosted by Track Guy Foundation in Iowa City, Iowa. Each team has four members and each teammate will pick ONE event between bowling, running, biking and golfing. The 4 events will be scored against their peers, with the highest sum total winning. 36 teams. First come, first serve.
Weekend Warrior begins Friday night (May 29) at Colonial Lanes in Iowa City, followed by Saturday, also in Iowa City, for the 5k run, 25k bike and golf. A social for fun will follow the last event at Big Grove.
Who are we doing this for? Funds raised support the Track Guy Foundation, a non-profit IRC Section 501(c)(3) organization and Lymphoma research in honor of Casey M. Jay . Since 2018, Track Guy has gifted 1300+ pairs of shoes to Iowa student-athletes in need, awarded eighty-two $500 scholarships to graduating Iowa high school seniors, offered 5 free skills clinics across Iowa, 7 free coaches clinics and much more.
